Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and device companies are required to do extensive clinical trials on their new products, and clinical research professionals carry out this task.  Clinical research and device trials are scientific studies of the effects, risks and benefits of medicinal and device products, including new and currently marketed drugs/devices. 


Hundreds of clinical trials are started each year in the inpatient and outpatient settings across the US and abroad.  As of April 2017, there were more than 100,000 clinical trials registered in clinicaltrials.gov  in the United States. The importance of understanding the regulatory requirements of a clinical trial and how the trial impacts the care and safety of the research patient, and the quality of the data from the patient’s care has become increasingly crucial to ensuring that a new drug or medical device will be a safe and viable treatment option for the applicable disease being researched.   


Understanding the roles of the key personnel involved in clinical trials and the rules and regulations required for a successful trial requires adequate training and attention to details.  We offer the following clinical trials training courses:
